Welcome to my little world where I talk about food, my writings, food, my art, and a bit more about food.  You see, I write about food for a living, and, simply put, that has to be the best job in the world.

Join me as I interview some of our greatest female chefs, food writers, and all-around most interesting people it's ever been my pleasure to meet.  We'll sit down for discussions about their lives in the culinary world, their favorite foods, how they got started, and what makes them tick.

You'll also get a preview of my upcoming books. For example, Culinary Goddesses will be a series of interviews with some of our greatest female food writers, and then there's Simple Pleasures from a Chinese Kitchen, a tasty overview of authentic seasonal recipes from every region of China.  And please feel free to visit my blog, where I discuss recipes, people I've met and/or eaten with, my experiences in Taiwan and China, and any other random thought that happens to be snatched out of the air that day.
